Q: I have placed an order but I didn't get the model. Why?
A: You get the model as soon as I turn on my computer. There is no automatic system which would give you the download link :)
So it took a while for me to get the message with your order. Also, I don't keep the models on the server, I need to upload them first.
That is why there is a delay.
Usualy I work since 8 am till 8pm (gmt+1 time) and check the email every one or two hours
But sometime I need to go out, so there could be a random delay.
However, when I do a work break longer than one day, I always write about that at the main page.
Q: I have placed an order and I chose the PayPal payment method, but nothing happened after that. Why?
A: There is no automatic integration with the PayPal web site. You need to login at the PayPal site and send the payment by yourself!
My PayPal account is the same as my email: tom@squir.com
Q: Why won't you make the system fully automatic?
A: Because I don't pretend to be a profesional modelshop. I make my living from custom modeling work and I don't have time
for anything other than modeling. I work 12 hours per day almost every day already!
Q: Are the models set with materials and lightning?
A: I can provide the materials and lightning, but only for the 3dsmax with the stock included mentalray.
For other programs like lightwave or maya you will not get any advanced setups because I don't have those programs.
I can convert my models just with a conversion program which cuts the setups just to required basics.
No advanced setups like reflection, refraction, falloff, shellac, etc. will be included.
Q: How I can pay you?
A: You can send the payment via bank wire, Ppaypal,westernunion or moneybookers
Your choice!
Q: Can I pay by Credit Card?
A: No, I cannot accept any credit card payments.
Q: I have sent the payment, so why won't you give me the model?
A: You need to wait until I get the money - when you pay using PayPal I get the payment instantly, so you will get the model instantly.
But when you pay by a bankwire, it can take a few days to reach my account.
Q: Would I get the model instantly if I give you a scan of the payment transfer document?
A: No. I wait for the payment to be confirmed to protect myself from scams - I cannot rely on your promises to pay.
If you decide to send your money by bank transfer, please ask your bank how long it will take.
Some payments have taken as long as one week to reach my account. The same procedure is followed if you pay by Western Union.
I won't send you the model before getting the payment. Don't even think about wasting my time with imaginary bank transfer data!
Q: Why do you charge so much more for my model, yet others are available for only 59eur?
A: Pleeeeeeease... basically I charge based on the time I need to spend on a request. Don't ask me to work for one euro per hour.
Many people think Poland is a 3rd World Country, where people will work just for food. But I'm not one of them.
Q: Why can't I review the model before paying?
A: Of course you can, but I've got to know you very well :)
I won't send a model before being paid to someone who I have never done business with before.
Q: Can you tell me how you made your models?
A: Hell no! It's top secret!! ;)
Q: What's the graphics program you are working on?
A: Basically 3dsmax6.
Q: Do you use vray?
A: I don't use any plugins at all.
Q: Are the models scalled?
A: No they're not. They are as big as the reference photos or blueprints were :)
Q: Any chance to get the 3dsmax file uncollapsed with the ability to remove meshsmoth?
A: Send an email request to me about the specific model you need.
Q: Are the models also available in other colors?
A: You can have any color as long as it's silver. :)
But seriously - I can repaint any model to any color, however,
the model would cost you twice as much for this service.
